Antarctic board games of yore.

The strange things one finds during game development.

The above image/game dates from the time of Scott and Amundsen’s historic race to the pole. How playable or fun is debatable – essentially a roll and move. Good to know that the last time the subject matter was tackled in a board game was a 100 years ago!

Spiel 14.

We are excited to announce that Pleasant Company Games will be at Spiel ’14 in Essen, Germany from October 16 – 19, to present our debut tabletop game, Ancient Terrible Things, to the European audience.

We will have a limited number of copies of ATT available for both EU retailers and consumers, as well as have both creators of the game on hand, to sign copies and demo the game.
